Most clients prefer custom courses that are tailored to the client's culture, business type, policies, or other needs. With custom courses, clients choose the modules to be included. With generic courses, the modules offered are fixed at the start of the year.

Course Levels

  • Orientation - these courses are a good way to launch a security awareness program. Orientation courses are also good resources for new employees.
  • Refresher - courses are for all employees. Most are updated annually, although some clients use shorter courses that are updated more often: twice a year, quarterly, or monthly.
  • Basics and Literacy courses - more in-depth than standard awareness courses.
  • Role-based courses - are tailored for executives, managers, security officers, developers, administrators, information technology specialists, and others.
  • Topic-focused courses - address specific subjects such as protecting customer information, information security concepts, privacy, and more.
